Zen-Tourney Rules

A Zen Tournament is where 2 players form a team and play at the same time.
One player takes the left side of the machine and one player takes the right.
You are allowed to play any way you like as long as you only use the flipper buttons on your side of the machine.
(yes, you can have your other hand on the machine for nudging)

Anyone can participate and be teammates

You may purchase up to 2 entries.
You can only be matched up with any given player once .
If you enter twice, you will be placed on the same side of the bracket (IN SEPERATE REGIONALS) so you can't make the finals on two separate teams, but it is possible for the same person to make the semis.
You *MUST* have 2 different partners if you wish to purchase two entries.
Each player operates only the flipper buttons on their side of the machine, you may alternate from ball to ball but not during the same ball in play.
Either player may plunge the ball, you may also alternate from ball to ball.
This is a single elimination tournament. (once you lose, you are out)
2 teams will compete at the same time (HEAD TO HEAD) with the winner advancing to the next round.

The Zen Tournament will feature an A and B division. Any player that has played in the A or B division of PinBrawl must play the A division in the Zen Tournament. Also, any player that is ranked in the top 100 in the World Pinball Player Rankings must play in the A division of the Zen Tournament.

The field will be limited to 64 teams (32 for each division) and will function like the NCAA tournament bracket.
Seeding will be completely RANDOM.  Once we fill the field of 64, we will then draw from a hat to get the match-ups. If a player enters twice, we will automatically place them on the same side of the bracket before the drawing.

The Zen Tournament will be run on games designed by the current Legends of Pinball honorees. A coin flip will decide the choice of order in the match. Whenever a match is ready to be played and a machine is open, we expect that match to start immediately. Due to possible time constraints, additional machines may be added to the tournament to keep pace.

All other PinBrawl rules apply during match play.
