Format:
5-MAN MAYHEM:
(5-man teams chosen at random, Friday night 7pm-midnight, limited to 40 players,
8 teams) Location: Birch Room
DUE TO MANY REQUESTS, WE WILL NOT START 5-MAN MAYHEM UNTIL THE END OF STEVE RITCHIES' FIRESIDE CHAT WHICH WILL RUN *ROUGHLY 1-1.5 HOURS.You may now register for 5-Man Mayhem if you didn't before because you were worried about missing Steves' Fireside chat.
QUALIFYING ROUND:
- Teams of 5 are randomly picked. We will sort players into 5 different skill levels
so teams will have one from each in their group.
- The games will be set up to 5 ball play, with each player playing 1 ball each
match. Teams can choose to play in any order they want within their group, and change
from game to game.
- Qualifying round will consist of each team playing every other team in a one game
head-to-head match. For example, with 8 teams, each team will play 7 games for Qualifying.
We will rank teams by record following the qualifying to determine who plays whom
in the Quarter-Finals.
MATCH PLAY ROUND:
- Seeds 1 & 8, 2 & 7, 3 & 6, 4 & 5 will all play in the Quarter-Finals best 3 out of 5. Higher seed chooses game, loser of each game chooses next game or position. The Semi-Final will be the top seed left in the tourney VS the lowest sees in the tourney and the middle 2 seeds will play each other. Winners advance to the Championship.
CHAMPIONSHIP:
- The Final will be between the 2 winners of the semifinals. Higher seed gets choice of game or position, with the subsequent loser of each game getting to choose game or position. The first team to win 3 games will be crowned the Pinbrawl 5-Man Mayhem Champions!
