PinBrawl Open Sandbagging

SAND-BAGGING is where a player sets aside Honor and Pride and *sells out* in hopes of winning *easy money* because tournament directors let a small few ruin the tournament for the masses. Well, this IS NOT one of those *other* pinball tournaments. If you are thinking of SAND-BAGGING, THINK AGAIN, *NOT* happening here buddy. If the tournament directors have to play the bad guy and tell you to play a higher division, well, we will. SAND-BAGGING has the following NEGATIVE effects on a pinball tournament...

1.) It awards people for cheating
2.) It ruins lower divisions for all players.
3.) It has a trickle-down effect on all divisions if allowed, ruining the integrity of the entire tournament.
4.) It makes people NOT want to play in pinball tournaments.
5.) It hurts a shows attendance, thus hurting the number of people who *would* play in a pinball tournament, which hurts the prize packages in all divisions because people stop playing in tournaments where people get away with cheating.

If a player in a lower division puts up scores that would qualify him for a higher division starting the end of Friday evening thru the end of the tournament, that player will be asked to move up a division and pay the difference owed to the tournament. If the player declines, we will refund that players money paid in full and ask them to not play in the tournament.

SANDBAGGING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

Simple guidelines to make sure you are in the right division and won't be accused of SAND-BAGGING:

*If you have played in an A division at any point in your life, you belong in "A" division.

*If you have ever qualified for an old expo flip-out tournament in A or B divisions, you belong in AT LEAST "B" division.

*If you have ever *WON* a given division at PAPA, you belong in the next highest division.

*If you won a given division at a prior Flip-out tournament, you belong in the next highest division.

*If you have played in A division at papa on 2 different occasions, you must play in A division.

*If you have ever won a pinball tournament A division, you belong in A division.

Tournament Directors John Kosmal and Josh Sharpe have final say on all Sandbagging matters and reserve the right to place any player in a higher division at any time during the tournament if they deem it necessary.

For all Expo attendees that purchased a package that included 2 free Flip-Out tournament tickets, these tickets may be redeemed for 4 games played into the new PinBrawl Flip-Out Open. (each ticket is worth 2 games) This does require the A and B players to purchase the one-time registration fee to play in the tournament.

The PinBrawl Flip-Out Open is an IFPA endorsed tournament. All players that participate in the A-division will earn World Pinball Player Rankings points.
